Individuals have the ability to request text message appointment notifications when scheduling an appointment.
Text reminders will include the date and time of the appointments. Also, if scheduling a video visit, we can text the link for the video visit to the smartphone number provided. Instructions on how to access the video visit appointments will be provided.
To receive text notifications for upcoming appointments, call the New York Independent Assessor Program at 1-855-222-8350. A telephone number must be provided to receive these text notifications.
Cancelling text notifications
Text notifications can be stopped at any time. To cancel the text notifications just text the word "STOP" in response to any of these notifications. Once text notifications are cancelled, in order to receive them in the future, call us at 1-855-222-8350, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. We are closed on state holidays.
